13 Reasons To Celebrate

MAWOCN hosted our first-ever annual Fundraising event, 13 Reasons to Celebrate! We celebrated many things: our first year as a 501c3 nonprofit organization, 13 years of service to the community, recruitment of Board and Circle members, the accomplishments of women of color who serve in the domestic and sexual violence field, and so much more! 

Shoutout to our lovely MCs Danielle Johnson and Tayla A. of Spark FM Online, our DJWhySham, The Envoy Hotel, Marriott Autograph Collection, and Para Maria Restaurant for hosting us, Yanique Events for the gorgeous floral arrangements, Matrix Photobooth, Ayanna Pressley for Congress and Andrea Joy Campbell for your excellent examples of leadership and your thoughtful sentiments about our organization, and huge thanks ZaZ  Restaurant & Catering LLC for the delicious spread!
